PNDC EXPANDS WORLDWIDE REACH
Members of the Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition have new opportunities to build customers both domestically and internationally .

The Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition ( PNDC ) is enthusiastic about international expansion for members following a challenging year with the pandemic . Denise Ryser , director of market development for PNDC , said , “ We ’ re going abroad . International support is an expanding initiative for us .”
PNDC is the non-profit business trade association for Pacific Northwest defense and security industry businesses . Their mission includes bringing more defense and security contracts to the Pacific Northwest and supporting a strong and connected supply chain for these industries .

This fall , PNDC has lined up a couple of conferences , one in London , the Defense and Security Equipment International Ltd . ( DSEI ), to be held in September , and the Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting ( AUSA ) in Washington D . C . in October , which draws U . S . and International military buyers .
Opportunities to attend these conferences come with a bonus for members of PNDC . With DSEI , for example , PNDC has arranged for a massive booth , with about 10 different individual “ pods ” for each member business in attendance . The cost to attend the event , through partnership with PNDC , has gone from $ 8,000 to $ 4,000 . Each company would be under the heading of PNDC , Washington Department of Commerce , and Business Oregon , who all work to support aerospace , maritime , land , tactical , unmanned , and advanced technology pursuits for the Pacific Northwest on an international scale .
