Xemelgo was the winner of our first ever Technical Company of the Year Award at the 2021 PNAA Technical Conference . PNAA made the decision to award Xemelgo based on the combination of their incredible software and their engagement with the aerospace industry . They are continuously working with local manufacturers to further the capabilities of the software and to advance the Pacific Northwest in the global manufacturing community . From the very beginning they have worked closely with manufacturing and service companies in aerospace to assure that the product that they are delivering meets the rapidly evolving needs of the industry . Today they are successfully getting companies connected . Tomorrow they plan to get entire supply chain ecosystems connected .
Two local companies that Xemelgo has engaged with on Industry 4.0 initiatives are Valence Surface Technologies and SEKISUI Aerospace . Valence Surface Technologies is a world leader in metal finishing . Xemelgo is applying sensor technology to automatically capture work order data and feed it directly into their ERP system . This reduces the data entry overhead on workers while arming leaders with more accurate data . SEKISUI Aerospace is a global aerospace manufacturer with an ambitious Industry 4.0 vision . Xemelgo is working to bring their vision to life by combining cloud , mobile , AI , and IoT technology .
Today the U . S . is number seven in the world for Industry 4.0 , and the team at Xemelgo is doing everything they can to digitize the factory floor and move us up that list . Positioning the Pacific Northwest as a leader in Industry 4.0 is a key factor in ensuring the success of our region .
