As our communities continue to battle the coronavirus , Washington ’ s aerospace industry is once again learning to navigate uncharted territory to remain competitive during this global pandemic . As your advocate in Olympia , the Aerospace Futures Alliance has always understood that effective advocacy requires persistence , consistency , and strong personal relationships .
Just as you all are trying to be flexible and creative , the AFA is equally committed to bringing these elements together to advocate on behalf of the aerospace industry and to provide meaningful opportunities for our members to engage in that process . The usual in-person preparations for the upcoming 2021 Legislative Session have been replaced this summer and fall , by virtual events , to include a new effort this year : AeroConnections Legislative Roundtables .
