How JCATI Helps Echodyne Maximize Their Reach

E
chodyne is backed by some of the biggest names – and brains – in
the tech industry: Bill Gates, Paul Allen, Nathan Myhrvold.
That doesn’t mean it’s got unlimited bandwidth.
In its earliest days, the Bellevue-based company had fewer than two
dozen employees, and there simply wasn’t the capacity to pursue all
the potential applications of its bleeding-edge materials science that
promises to bring major improvements to radar technology.
That’s why Echodyne’s association with the Joint Center for Aerospace
Technology Innovation has been so important, said Jeff Finan, the
company’s vice president for business development.
