Not only is ASU adding infrastructure and
staff, they are also adding new products.
ASU introduced the Ecliptus, a GoPro ® with
night vision and remote recording abilities
that can be used by both aerial and ground-
based operations. ASU also created the
OWLS, a night vision gimbal that can be
affixed to light aircraft and drones. Today,
ASU has numerous other products currently
in testing that will debut later in 2018 or
early 2019.
“ASU is positioned to help operators around
the world. Our mission of safety is no
longer just our mission — it is a worldwide
endeavor. This year we have conducted
meetings all over the world and in the com-
ing months we will meet with key leaders
in Europe for a series of discussions. We
look forward to advancing the mission that
our founders endeavored to create. This will
not only carry ASU into the future, but will
advance the entire aviation industry,” said
Winkel.
