In light of recent changes in the world, the team at Chinook has
looked toward how they could take advantage of relaxed manufacturing
demand to once again serve people and their community.
Chinook immediately engaged with their community and through
the Skagit Rotary Club learned of an opportunity to connect with
Eddyline Kayaks to support assembly of face shields to help combat
COVID-19. Thanks to partnership efforts of Skagit Rotary,
Eddyline Kayaks, and funding through local businesses, the face
shields will be provided to hospitals, senior care facilities and other
medical facilities in need. This project has helped protect people’s
health, and also helps support the employees that Chinook
serves, a population which is impacted by more than 75 percent
unemployment during a time like this. Chinook will continue to
produce and sell face shields in support of community needs.
Chinook Enterprises is more than spindles and CNCs. They truly
bring caring and humanity into every aspect of their work environment,
a quality that helps them find opportunities like their
recent face shield project. Their ability to pivot and mobilize their
resources to adapt to a given situation enables them to produce
great results for both their customers and their community.
With their flexible business model, Chinook is a manufacturing
partner that can support a variety of aerospace manufacturing
needs while providing opportunities that change the lives
of people. You can help support this effort and learn more:
