AeroTEC’s success didn’t happen
overnight, but now they are working
on some of the most cutting-edge projects
in the global aerospace industry.
Started in 2003 by Lee Human, Brad
Briscoe and Kent Baines, the company
systematically built up their capabilities
providing flight tests and certification
support. In 2011, they were
awarded a major certification with
Mitsubishi. Today they are contracted
with more traditional aerospace such
as Rolls-Royce, along with cutting
edge electronic aircraft projects like
magniX and Eviation.
The company is strategically focused
with an engineering unit in Seattle
at Boeing Field, and in Moses Lake,
Washington with a flight test center
and two hangars — per their website,
aerotec.com: “Our Moses Lake facility
includes a 65,000-square-foot wide
body hangar (Boeing 747-8 and 777-X
capable) and a 32,000-square-foot narrow
body hangar (Boeing 737NG and
757 capable).” AeroTEC’s engineers
are at the Seattle location with the following
competencies: “The bulk of our
engineers are located here, providing
most of our analysis, design, planning,
reports, and sales support.”
