Expanding and Improving
In late 2018 after purchasing another local fabrication
company, PCT relocated to an 80,000-square-foot fa-
cility in Liberty Lake, Washington. The company used
the move as an opportunity to increase efficiency and
reduce waste by applying lean management principles.
The result is a meticulous, well-organized production
facility that highlights the company’s commitment to
quality and care for their employees’ safety and satis-
faction.
“We conduct a lot of tours and the first thing most
visitors say is ‘wow’ because the facility pretty much
shines,” Clint Grassel explained. “Everything is
well-organized and well-maintained, which gives cus-
tomers instant confidence in the quality of products we
will produce for them.”
PCT also recently upgraded several of their business
processes, including their ERP and bookkeeping sys-
tems to streamline operations. Grassel credits employ-
ees for the smooth and successful transition to a newly
expanded company and facility. Individual departments
moved their own work centers and took the opportunity
to make improvements in workflow and layout.
