Excelling at manufacturing production
Tiffany Kostelyk , Bridgeways ' director of manufacturing , has been with the company since 2010 . She said that their manufacturing is impactful because they provide high-quality manufacturing services , which fund social services for the community and a living wage for employees .
“ We look at ourselves as a second chance employer – being able to provide employment when no one else will .” She cited the benefits of the clinical services , PATH ( program ), homeless outreach , helping repeat offenders in the court system , and clinical services for support with substance abuse .
She said many people understand their clinical services , adding that their largest aerospace customer , Boeing , understands their impact , but other manufacturers or suppliers may not fully understand the organization ’ s social impact .
Kostelyk also wants people to know that “ disability doesn ’ t equal inability .”
They have rigorous quality standards . “ Our manufacturing operations operate within a QMS that has maintained AS9100:2016 ( D ) and ISO9001:2015 certifications – international standards for quality assurance . AS9100:2016 is an internationally recognized industry standard for quality assurance in the aerospace industry . ISO 9001:2015 is the world ’ s most established quality standard for manufacturing operations .”
