PNAA RECEIVES AWB ’ S PRESTIGIOUS WASHINGTON CONNECT AWARD
PNAA is the proud recipient of this year ’ s prestigious Washington Connect Award from the Association of Washington Business ( AWB ).
Our team gathered in November to receive the award at AWB ’ s Evening of Excellence gala ceremony . The annual event celebrates Washington ’ s innovative employer community , and the many ways private-sector employers contribute to quality of life .
PNAA was among 13 employers selected for the awards from among around 250 companies nominated .
“ It is our distinct privilege to honor employers who are helping make Washington an incredible place to work , live , and raise a family ,” says AWB President Kris Johnson . “ Through these awards , we are celebrating their successes and thanking them for their contributions to the economy and our communities .”
PNAA was recognized as a business whose products and / or services have positively impacted the way in which Washington employers and communities are connected to each other and the world . PNAA CEO and Executive Director Nikki Malcom accepted the Washington Connect Award on PNAA ’ s behalf .
“ We believe that by connecting people with common interests , we can create a strong network that helps everyone prosper . We can foster a strong community and the aerospace industry can continue to be on the leading edge ,” Malcom said in her acceptance speech .
Formed in 1904 , the Association of Washington Business is the oldest and largest statewide business association and includes nearly 7,000 members representing 700,000 employees . Its mission is to serve as the catalytic leader and unifying voice for economic prosperity throughout Washington state .
