CGTech ’ s VERICUT ® is a software that provides NC programmers tools to verify the quality and accuracy of an NC program . VERICUT interactively simulates the material removal process of an NC program while showing full simulations of entire CNC machine tools to detect errors , potential collisions , or other areas for improvement . Used in companies , trade schools , and government agencies of all sizes , VERICUT reduces or eliminates manual prove-outs while reducing scrap loss and rework and optimizing NC programs to save time while producing higher quality parts .
The Joint Center for Aerospace Technology Innovation ( JCATI ) provides short term funding via academic collaboration for WA aerospace companies of all sizes to test and transition promising new technologies . Projects leverage engineering expertise found in WA public universities to help companies solve TRL 4-7 problems . Applications are due in February and projects start July 1 .
