Like the vigorous growth of a new spring day , after a wintery two-year shut down with Zoom meetings , cancelled events and home office walls , aerospace is back and reaching for the sky .
In-person meetings and events , ( mostly ) maskless meetings and client visits , new orders and optimism of the return of pre-pandemic business are refreshing to say the least .
Although it is not all rainbows and butterflies just yet — we have a significant workforce problem , material shortages and rising costs creating havoc in deliveries . However , these are problems businesses have faced before and can create pathways to overcome them .
We take a bit of a detour in this issue to share in the fun and excitement of the Skyfest Airshow at Fairchild AFB in Spokane . Look for the badge with the QR code to watch the video we produced for them at the event .
We also were invited for the first time to participate in what has been a media blackout event in the past . The A & DSS Show put on by BCI was a breath of networking fresh air — a worldwide networking-and-meeting-focused event designed to facilitate business to business relationship building . Again , watch our video attached to this article .
We continue to build new resources to support our aerospace community . Our new website shares the magazine content in a much easier format . We also have our new video production studio we call the Aquarium . Be watching for our Vlog episodes on numerous social channels sharing our advertisers and article subjects .
