PNAA ’ s 21st Aerospace Conference , “ Back to the Skies !” was a welcomed return to connecting aerospace interests for the aerospace manufacturing supply chain . The conference hosted over 400 participants from nearly 250 aerospace supply chain companies and leading analysts and executives from around the globe who shared their expertise and expert analysis . The energy was high as colleagues and friends exchanged greetings and re-connected after nearly two years of separation .

PACIFIC NORTHWEST AEROSPACE ALLIANCE
During the conference , PNAA formerly named industry veteran Nikki Malcom as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director , effective immediately . Before this week ’ s vote by the PNAA Board of Directors , Malcom served as Interim CEO and Executive Director since her appointment last October .
Malcom ’ s opening remarks captured the overriding theme that emerged at the conference : collaboration . “ Collaboration is going to be an integral part of our success moving forward ,” she told attendees .
With a new understanding of the industry ’ s state , it ’ s evident that solving the most challenging and new emerging problems in aerospace manufacturing and aviation will require a higher level of cooperation and collaboration than ever before .
