Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance is the Northwest ’ s premier aerospace trade organization . Since becoming a non-profit in 2001 , PNAA has been promoting the growth and success of the region ’ s aerospace industry with dynamic events designed to connect aerospace interests , inspire aerospace leaders , and educate policy makers . PNAA ’ s unwavering commitment to sharing bold ideas , innovative technologies and leading-edge processes has strengthened the industry and earned respect from every level of the supply chain . Our members represent every segment of the aerospace industry and are responsible for designing , manufacturing , and supplying parts and services on commercial and defense aircraft , space vehicles and payloads , and the next upcoming innovative industry segments .
The Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition ( PNDC ) is the Business Trade Association for Pacific Northwest Defense & Security Industry Businesses . PNDC ’ s mission includes bringing more defense and security contracts to the Pacific Northwest and supporting a strong and connected supply chain for these industries . By doing this , PNDC helps create , grow and diversify business development opportunities for a wide range of Washington and Oregon companies . PNDC member companies range from large Fortune 100 companies to small machine shops that support the supply chain in maritime , tactical equipment , aerospace , unmanned systems , advanced manufacturing , information technology , homeland security , space exploration , and more .
Formed in 2009 , AUVSI Cascade Chapter is one of 41 federated chapters of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International ( AUVSI ), the world ’ s largest nonprofit organization devoted exclusively to advancing the unmanned systems and robotics community . Our Mission : “ To advance economic growth , promote innovation , and create jobs in the unmanned systems and robotics industry in the Pacific Northwest .”
At the federal , state , and local levels – Aerospace Futures Alliance is the advocate for Washington aerospace companies . Since 2006 , AFA has connected elected officials with local aerospace leaders to strengthen our industry and make Washington the recognized center of aerospace innovation and excellence around the world .
The Inland Northwest Aerospace Consortium ( INWAC ) is an alliance of aerospace suppliers along the I-90 Corridor from Central Washington across North Idaho and into Central Montana . INWAC provides a single point of contact to a wide range of capabilities , creates opportunities among members to collaborate , and promotes the strengths of companies within the network to the region and beyond .
The Columbia River Gorge Technology Alliance ( Gorge Tech Alliance , GTA ) is a professional organization composed of local high -tech businesses in the bi-state Columbia River Gorge region . The GTA ’ s mission is to support , connect and develop the technology community of the Gorge . The sectors represented by the GTA are diverse but there is a significant presence in unmanned systems for the region . Since 2005 , the GTA has worked to help start , grow , expand and sustain high-tech companies in the Gorge . By bringing the tech business community together for educational and networking events , the Alliance promotes connections between business , education and government to enhance this growth . The GTA also works closely with local education partners to promote access to STEM education to grow the next generation of workforce for the industry .
