Founded in 1978 by The Boeing Company , led by Robert L . Ryan , Boeing corporate administrator for small and disadvantaged business programs , the Northwest Mountain Minority Supplier Development Council has been leading supplier diversity efforts and education in the Pacific Northwest region for more than four decades .
An affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council ( NMSDC ), it acts as a liaison between Minority Business Enterprises ( MBEs ) and corporate and public agency members , bridging the gap to build strategic relationships that advance economic opportunities in the region .
