Senior Vice President of Strategy Lee Clark wants the passenger to have a seamless experience . “ What is the passenger journey ?” he asks , “ It starts in their home , or office , and continues to the aircraft .” He cites the customer that is watching a series on Netflix . When they go to the aircraft , they are going to want to pick up where they left off with their in-flight entertainment system ( IFE ). Clark said that they will want a similar experience on their business jet that they have in their multi-million-dollar home — both from a technology and furnishings / finishes standpoint .
Even for consumers flying on commercial airlines , there are certain expectations embedded in today ’ s experience . Customers expect updated technology , and they want the airline to make it easy for them to do business .
