JUNE 2026
AEROSPACE MARKET UPDATE
Total 2025 aircraft production value was $ 179B, up ~ 12 % from 2024
2024-2025 AIRCRAFT PRODUCTION VALUE BY END USE MARKET OBSERVATIONS
12.2 % CAGR
▪ Commercial air transport production value grew ~ 18 % in 2025 due to significant 737MAX production rate increases(+ 64 % YoY), with some modest improvements on the A320neo(+ 9.5 % YoY)
▪ The military market experienced 6.3 % year-over-year growth, driven primarily by fighter production. As the B-21 ramps up, we anticipate bombers to drive a healthy portion of military growth in the late 2020s.
▪ The Business and General Aviation( BGA) market experienced a moderate growth of 4.3 % year-over-year. Business jet manufacturers were not exempt from supply chain constraints. Gulfstream wrestled with Pearl 700 supply shortages on the G700 & G800, while testing for de-icing system approval, which contributed to lower deliveries than they anticipated.
