Welcome to our biggest issue to date, as we partner with Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance (PNAA) to include their 2020 Conference Guide, along with the timely content you have come to expect from Northwest Aerospace News. This just makes sense. The annual PNAA Conference involves the aerospace industry’s largest and most influential companies from around the world discussing industry dynamics and projections. Behind them are speakers from the numerous industry suppliers who make it happen every day — building parts and inventing new ways to support industry growth. Pairing the Conference Guide with the Northwest Aerospace News focused sharing of stories about our Pacific Northwest suppliers and their successes, along with the advertisers who are here to support and help with urgently needed resources, creates a combination that has become a valuable tool, not only for conference attendees but for all our subscribers and readers as well. In creating Northwest Aerospace News our goal is to be a conduit of information to support this industry we all share. In my travels and meeting with many great businesses, we find that we are successfully connecting many who previously were not aware of resources, helping to facilitate the development of new partners. This is a common story among all the great cooperative member organizations such as PNAA, AFA, INWAC, PNDC, AUVSI and many others as well. The aerospace industry in 2020 is looking toward many exciting developments — headwinds and tailwinds — bringing new ways to approach our business. Staying connected will be key to staying competitive.
