The disruptive CF3D solution shifts the paradigm on manufacturing with speed, affordability and automation. C F3D combines the power of high-strength, low-weight composite materials with rapid curing resins to create a mold-less and out-of-autoclave manufacturing solution, shifting the par- adigm on how composites are utilized across industries. Due to high barriers to entry, coupled with costly manufac- turing constraints, composite materials are traditionally only found in high-end applications and premium products. Composite manufacturing is now afford- able and automated through Continuous Composites’ advanced CF3D solution comprised of hardware, software, mate- rials and motion platforms. Additive Manufacturing (AM), com- monly referred to as 3D printing, de- scribes manufacturing technologies that build 3D objects by “adding” layer-up- on-layer of materials. 52 NORTHWEST AEROSPACE NEWS Continuous Composites redefines manufacturing with affordable and limitless design possibilities for part optimization across industries.
