THE CORNERSTONE OF INDUSTRY
COLLABORATION
There is no question that aerospace is an incredibly
competitive industry. Being a multi-national industry with
significant revenue potential, the stakes in aerospace
transcend purely business. They transcend economies,
moving nations of people and the ability to transport
goods and services around the world. Although highly
competitive, aerospace companies would not be able to
succeed without the partnerships that enable them to
achieve their goals.
The fabric of the Pacific Northwest aerospace
manufacturing landscape is interwoven with cluster
and trade organizations that help align and position
relationships that aid in the success of the industry.
These organizations provide value unique to their
missions and they collectively strengthen our region’s
industry. Aerospace companies recognize the value
these organizations bring from introductions to potential
customers and suppliers to industry awareness,
networking, establishing policy, talent management and a
variety of other benefits. Many aerospace companies have
mastered aligning with these different cluster organizations
to prosper in business.

Speakers from PNAA, SME and Boeing gather to speak on work-
force at SME Conference
Like PNAA, other supporting organizations recognize the
value of partnering with fellow cluster organizations in the
region and beyond. Although there can be overlap within
the communities they serve, these organizations each have
unique focuses and provide diverse experiences. Because
of this, many of these organizations have found ways to
leverage partnerships with one another, allowing them to
reach larger audiences and provide increased value to the
industry.
