chain solution. Grapsas describes Valence
Surface Technologies’ role as a single-source
supplier. “Valence seeks to be a one-stop shop,”
he said.
“After a part is machined, we can take care
of the rest. We’ll do the finishing, inspecting,
assembly, and drop-shipping of parts small to
large.”
Rather than sending a part to multiple suppliers
often in a back-and-forth fashion, customers
can work solely with Valence to provide a wide
range of services, which leads to reduced lead
times, streamlined transportation, and lower
logistics costs. Ultimately, customers are able to
focus on their core competencies knowing that
Valence is tending to finish-related work.
