acquisition of Magnetic & Penetrant
Services Company in Seattle in 2017.
While Valence Everett has capabilities
to handle large size aerostructures, Va-
lence Seattle specializes in processing
small to medium-sized precision parts
for the aerospace industry. The plant
offers full-service NDT, penetrant
and magnetic particle inspection, shot
peen and paint services and has two
lines for titanium, steel and aluminum
processing including chemfilm Type 1,
and Type 2 anodize. The Seattle Center
of Excellence processes over four
million parts each year, employing a
lean manufacturing philosophy with a
24/7 operation.
Both Valence Seattle and Valence Ev-
erett maintain the highest of standards
to meet and exceed customer expecta-
tions. The facilities are AS9100-certi-
fied and have earned NADCAP merit
status as well as being ITAR-com-
pliant. Among other awards, Valence
Everett has been awarded Boeing’s
World Class Finishing Award Pride in
Excellence. The two Pacific Northwest
centers of excellence have earned the
trust of major aerospace manufacturing
customers including Boeing, Gulf-
stream, Cessna, Spirit Aerosystems,
Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, United
Technologies, and more.
