nitech Composites was founded in 1979 in Hayden, Idaho.
It was formed as a joint venture between Unique Fiberglass of
Post Falls, Idaho and Fiber-Tech, based in Kalispell, Montana.
In 2007 Unitech Composites was acquired by Acorn Growth
Companies (AGC), a private equity group based in Oklahoma
City, and Edgewater Funds, a Chicago-based private equity
firm. The AGC portfolio of companies is focused on small
to medium sized aerospace and defense companies. In 2014
Unitech Composites was rebranded as AGC AeroComposites
Hayden. In 2014 AGC AeroComposites Monterey (formerly
Integrated Composites Incorporated of Monterey, California)
was consolidated into the Hayden facility. In 2017 the compa-
ny was rebranded back to Unitech Composites and the parent
