“W e each brought our own strengths to the team and we focused heavily on building the base – we bet on ourselves and put our money and time in first.  We wanted to de-risk the business before we took any out- side money and we focused heavily on filing IP, devel- oping the technology and making sure the business was set up right,” said Alvarado. For two years, Alvarado said, “We were in stealth mode developing the technology while filing exten- sive patents around CF3D™. In 2017, once we had a strong patent foothold around CF3D™, we came out of stealth mode and that’s when the floodgates opened.” He said with the extensive patent portfolio and dis- ruptive technology, industry giants are now seeking them out. “Our technology is industry agnostic and has disruptive applications in virtually every indus- try. Coming from all over the world — when our cus- tomers visit our headquarters in Coeur d’Alene, they quickly understand how revolutionary CF3D™ is and how it can be utilized within their own business and industry,” he added. 14 NORTHWEST AEROSPACE NEWS
