“W
e each brought our own strengths to the team
and we focused heavily on building the base – we bet
on ourselves and put our money and time in first. We
wanted to de-risk the business before we took any out-
side money and we focused heavily on filing IP, devel-
oping the technology and making sure the business was
set up right,” said Alvarado.
For two years, Alvarado said, “We were in stealth
mode developing the technology while filing exten-
sive patents around CF3D™. In 2017, once we had a
strong patent foothold around CF3D™, we came out of
stealth mode and that’s when the floodgates opened.”
He said with the extensive patent portfolio and dis-
ruptive technology, industry giants are now seeking
them out. “Our technology is industry agnostic and
has disruptive applications in virtually every indus-
try. Coming from all over the world — when our cus-
tomers visit our headquarters in Coeur d’Alene, they
quickly understand how revolutionary CF3D™ is and
how it can be utilized within their own business and
industry,” he added.
