Always looking to deliver cost savings to Boeing and other customers, the company feels that the best starting path is through robotics in manufacturing for pick and-place and inspection. Ultimately, they are going to eliminate repetitive motion jobs.
“ As part of our 2019 Tacoma manufacturing facility expansion, we foresee using collaborative robots on injection molding machines, CNC metal machining, and in secondary operations for a wide range of applications, specifically repetitive motion work, load / unload, assemblies, etc.” said Lee.
