W ith an Industry 4.0 focus, AIM Aerospace’s goal is to push for less manual intervention and more da- ta-driven decisions. Integrating Industry 4.0 with their sales, inventory, operations and planning (SIOP) system, will enable data collected across the company to drive decisions. According to the blog Chron, “SIOP provides valu- able information to the organization including updated sales, production, inventory and new product develop- ment plans. Further, SIOP helps the organization manage replenishment and profitability strategies. Rough-cut capacity planning also uses SIOP to set production targets and inventory levels.
