Ganzarski illustrates a transportation story problem – let ’ s say parents who live in Seattle have a child attending Washington State University in Pullman , Washington . That ’ s either a fourand-a-half to five-hour drive , each way , or an hour flight ( which is really about three hours and about $ 450 once you get to SeaTac airport – the only airport to fly from – check in and take the flight ). If you have a family , it ’ s multiplied per person . How do you see your child more often in an efficient manner ?

A quick trip to visit Sorority Sally can add up both financially and in precious time .
But Ganzarski ponders , what if there was a smaller plane , a low-cost commuter solution ? Enter Eviation ’ s Alice , the smaller all-electric commuter that can fly in and out of small , regional airports all day long . No TSA , no parking or long lines , just hop on the plane . Ganzarski envisions commuter airline companies with a fleet located around the country at many of the 10,000 smaller airports that never see much action .
He said that using this technology will enable quicker trips , at bus rate prices , that allow family to get together more often at a lower expense .
Picture flying from Ellensburg to Bremerton , from Seattle to Bellingham , from Moses Lake to Spokane within a short amount of time , with easy on-and-off . Business travel would change and allow salespeople to visit several customers or suppliers in one day . The aircraft can fly 440 miles with passengers in high comfort .
