Progress is progress no matter the baby steps or giant leaps .
As I write this we have once again landed a piece of “ Earth-made ” machinery on another planet . It sends us data and images as we explore the unknown . I saw a comment recently that Mars is the only planet inhabited entirely by robots !
The amazing feats of human energy and intellect are astounding . It proves we can do just about anything we put our mind , money , and energy into . Giant leaps are great but what about the baby steps ?
2020 was a real page-turner , with the steepest decline in most major aspects of aerospace manufacturing ever recorded . Full recovery will be made one baby step at a time , the length of which is unknown ( depending on who you are listening to ).
I am a believer in our resolve . In my opinion , the baby steps of thousands of companies will result in an amazing comeback — the beauty being that the comeback will be amplified with new innovations to serve our industry even better than before . The Sleeping Giant has been awakened ; the resolve and determination will be the catalyst that will have us wide-eyed and amazed .
Here is to 2021 and the launchpad is ready . The countdown has begun . To your success ,
