He has vast internation- al experience having lived in Europe, plus frequent travels throughout the Middle East and Asia. A 29-year defense and aerospace professional, Jack has spent eight years in strategy/business consulting and technolo- gy development, plus served 21 years in the United States Air Force as a fighter pilot. Bill McSherry, is Vice President of Gov- ernment Operations for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Named to his position in June 2014, McSherry is responsible for Commer- cial Airplanes’ state and local operations in the Northwest and South Carolina regions. He leads a team of specialists who manage relationships with elected officials and business leaders, advocate for key issues that advance Boeing’s business objectives, and find philanthropic opportunities to give back to the communities where Commercial Airplanes employees live and work. Bryan Corliss is a national award-win- ning content strategist and journalist with nearly two decades of experience writing about the aerospace and aviation industries. As a public relations pro, he’s been part of a team that partnered with Boeing on a cam- paign that won one of the Public Relations Society of America’s top honors for issues communications, and he’s won North Ameri- can industry group awards for both print and digital content creation, social media use and executive communications. Robin Bishop is a regional writer and editor who transplanted from Montana to Washington state in 1987. She married a local boy, raised a family, and then fell back into a lifelong writing passion. Robin has a BA in Professional and Creative Writing from Central Washington University, and is the past editor of Catalyst business and innovation magazine. 6 NORTHWEST AEROSPACE NEWS AEROSPACE NORTHWEST N E W S M A G A Z I N E Jennifer Ferrero, APR, provides marketing and communication services to the Center of Excellence. She is nationally accredited in public relations, and frequently writes about workforce development and education in the aerospace and advanced manufacturing industries. Mary Kaye Bredeson is the Execu- tive Director of the Center of Excellence for Aerospace and Advanced Manufacturing, housed at Everett Community College. For the past 15 years, she has brought her lead- ership skills to higher education in promot- ing Washington’s economic and workforce development initiatives in aerospace and advanced manufacturing. Fiona McKay, recently joined the PNAA as Business Development Director, on the anniversary of her 10th year in Aerospace. Her principal responsibilities include the development and strengthening of rela- tionships with both the Pacific Northwest and International Aerospace community, sup- porting the development and delivery of the PNAA’s networking and market intelligence events, and using her knowledge of the industry to enhance the evolution of PNAA’s mission and growth.
