VADNAIS HEIGHTS AREA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
VHACF is hosting listening sessions throughout the community to better understand its current needs. We encourage citizens and businesses in the community to share your thoughts with our board members by emailing us at info @ vhacf. org.
Since 1990, VHACF has been issuing grants of approximately $ 10,000 annually, helping provide for various community needs. After becoming affiliated with The Saint Paul Foundation in 2005, we expanded our all-volunteer
board and were able to partner with Fund for Teachers™ offering annual fellowship opportunities to our local teachers.
VHACF is now receiving grant requests that quadruple the amount of our available funds, so we are always in need of your donations! Please, mail your tax-deductible donations to the following address. Some of our more recent grants were issued to the Journey Home Veterans housing project, the Lakeshore Players
Theatre new facility and the remodeled libraries in White Bear Lake and Shoreview.

CENTURY COLLEGE FOUNDATION
“ Transforming and enhancing the lives of our students – one student at a time” is the mission of the Century College Foundation. Founded in 1973 by local philanthropist, J. Stanley Hill,
the Century College Foundation helps prospective and current students make the most of their education by offering a diverse array of scholarships and other financial supports, such as Random Acts of Kindness Emergency Grants and an on-campus Food Pantry. Donations – sent to the following address – help students on their path toward selfsufficiency and a brighter future.
Tara, a single parent studying to be a nurse, is thankful for her scholarship, saying,“ I can’ t stress enough how the lessening of my financial burden has allowed me to get the most out of my education.” Patrick, an army veteran and White Bear Lake native, says,“ I was awarded a scholarship which allowed me to cut back at work and focus more of my time on school. Century is a great place for people transitioning out of the military.”
