Create Space, a new business recently opened in Vadnais Heights by Katie and Al Cooley, is a Do-It-Yourself studio where both experienced crafters and newbies gather to have fun while creating their own custom wood projects and home decor. Katie and Al were both born and raised in the White Bear Lake area and they appreciate the amazing people, businesses and organizations that make up this exciting place. The couple sought to become more involved in the community and soon realized their dreams of becoming small business owners.
At Create Space, customers can bring their own food and beverages( alcohol permitted only in classes 21 +) and choose from a variety of class types
Are you interested in a private function, such as a staff team building event, a bachelorette party or a birthday party? Discounted group rates are offered to local small businesses and schools. Catering from Donatelli’ s is also available. where they stain, assemble and paint their projects. All the materials are provided along with expert instruction and guidance. Customers choose their preferred stains, paint colors and designs. Some projects even allow for customization, with name, date or a location. Customers are guaranteed to leave feeling accomplished with a professional-looking masterpiece to show off when they are done!
