Peoples Bank Midwest opened in the
Northeast Metro Area in 2007. In 2016
the Maplewood branch moved its
operations to Vadnais Heights; it has
12 employees. Local ownership and
in-house decision-making have been the

Premier Banks opened in 1974, in
a trailer on the corner of Beam and
White Bear Avenues. In 1978, Premier
opened its Maplewood headquarters.
Today, Premier has 170 Employees
and 20 Branches from Rochester to
Monticello. As one of the few family-
owned and operated banks left in
the Twin Cities, Premier continues to
build on personal relationships and
community.
