CONGRATULATIONS TO F & M BANK
MILESTONE ANNIVERSARY BEING CELEBRATED IN 2025
This year marks a major milestone for F & M Bank. Not only have the institution’ s Vadnais Heights and Lino Lakes locations been serving the northeast metro and surrounding areas for 15 years, the bank as a whole is celebrating 100 years of service in 2025.
Farmers and Merchants Savings Bank( now known as F & M Bank) opened for business in Manchester, Iowa, on July 20, 1925. F & M has expanded into several markets since then, opening seven total branches in Iowa and Minnesota. On December 17, 2010, F & M Bank entered into a purchase and assumption agreement with the FDIC to assume all deposits of Community National Bank of Lino Lakes and Vadnais Heights in Minnesota. All employees were retained, and several are still team members at F & M Bank today. This acquisition was the bank’ s first expansion outside of Iowa.
