“We’ve made it a point to be part of
this group because as one of the larger
businesses in Vadnais Heights, we
think it is very important to support the
local community as best we can,” said
Johannes, who in 2020 will be VHEDC’s
immediate Past President.
“On the client side, people have access
to an online portal they can access 24
hours a day to find out what’s going on
with an account. They can look at what
actions have been taken by IC System.
Among the things they will see, the
number of phone calls that have been
made, the number of letters that have
been sent out, and any notes recorded
about conversations with consumers.
We find our clients really like that ability
to know that something is being done—
that outreach is being attempted and
contacts made,” said Johannes.
IC System has been recognized many
times over the years for its commitment
to the community. The company was
recognized with the Top Workplace
award from the Minneapolis Star Tribune
in 2017, 2018 and 2019, and has been
recognized as a Finalist for the Better
Business Bureau’s Torch Award for Ethics
four times.
“So many agencies go out of business,
or change their name after getting
bought out by a multi-national
conglomerate, but we have been
here in the northeast metro under the
leadership of the Erickson family since
the beginning, and plan to continue
our commitment to the community for
the foreseeable future,” said Johannes,
who is one of six members of the
Erickson family currently working for the
company.
