touring CHS Field I learned how the
baseball field coming into Lowertown
directly affected the residents and
changed the economic development
of the area. Doing improv at Lakeshore
Players, I learned about the importance
of communication and eye contact;
and by touring and learning about
Merrick, I found out about a wonderful
place doing good right here in our
community,” said Welch.
Learning about the roles of leaders in
industries outside of her own has been
a key benefit of the program for 2019
participant Molly Weibel. She wears
many hats in her dual roles as Education
Director and Marketing Associate for
Lakeshore Players Theater in White Bear
Lake, a position she has held since Aug.
2018.

She commented that she was surprised
to learn her struggles are very similar
to those of leaders in other industries.
“Through this group I have been able to
meet people who are realtors, bankers,
engineers, all these different aspects
of professionalism that I wouldn’t
necessarily get to see otherwise. It has
