We have enjoyed special rela- tionships with the North Texas dental com- munity and strive to continue to keep our readers up to date and informed. Many thanks to all who helped to make 2019 a year to remember! We are pleased to present Dallas Surgical Arts and Dr. Randy Sanovich as the final cover feature of 2019. Dr. Sanovich has board certification in both facial cosmetic surgery and oral maxillofacial surgery and has combined his training and expertise to treat patients with both cosmetic and den- tal surgery needs. He has found that mak- ing a positive impact on his patients’ lives and how they feel about themselves is the most rewarding part of his job. Dr. Sanovich also presents this issue’s Smiles in the Spotlight, which documents a patient’s treatment using orthognathic sur- gery to address severe sleep apnea. The treatment process and results in this case are very impressive. Great editorial rounds out the issue. Prac- tice Management looks at the toxic employee, Money Matters offers end-of- the-year tax planning reminders, and Prac- tice Transitions examines what motivates and drives change in your practice status.
