Cosmetic surgery for patients
with dental needs
Often, patients with dental surgical needs also need facial recon-
struction or wish to improve their facial aesthetics with cosmetic
surgery. Because Dr. Randy Sanovich has board certification in
both facial cosmetic surgery and oral maxillofacial surgery, he
is uniquely prepared to accommodate an extraordinarily wide
range of patient needs and provides a full scope of facial cos-
metic and oral surgery procedures. His expertise enables him
to offer concierge service for patients who desire combined pro-
cedures in a single location, which allows patients to achieve
more complete and satisfying results.
As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr Sanovich has extensive
specialized training in surgical procedures involving the skin,
muscle, bone, and cartilage of the jaw and mouth that are
designed to create aesthetic harmony and optimize function.
However, because his background unites the disciplines of facial
cosmetic surgery and dental surgery, he also performs cosmetic
procedures that involve the function and aesthetics of the face,
mouth, teeth and jaws. Dr. Sanovich is a recognized leader in
the latest advancements of oral and facial reconstructive proce-
dures, including orthognathic jaw surgery, TMJ surgery, dental
implant placement, facelift, eyelid lift, rhinoplasty, otoplasty,
and cheek and chin implants.
For example, a patient who requires orthognathic jaw surgery
to correct a deficiency in maxillary development and improve
form and function of the jaw may choose to add a genioplasty
or rhinoplasty at the same time for a more complete transfor-
mation. A patient seeking dental implants may opt to add a CO2
laser therapy procedure or BOTOX ® treatment to address the
signs of aging or scarring. Dr. Sanovich’s ability to provide mul-
tiple procedures can help the patient achieve a more ideal
appearance without the need for a separate appointment or a
second sedation.
“I enjoy complex surgical cases.
To know that I make a positive
impact in my patients’ lives and
how they feel about themselves
is the most rewarding part of
my job.”
Most procedures, from dental implants to orthognathic surgery
or complete jaw reconstruction, are performed in Dr. Sanovich’s
new, state-of-the-art office. Most facial cosmetic procedures can
also be performed in the Dallas Surgical Arts office using local
and/or intravenous anesthesia, while more complex procedures
are performed in a hospital. Dr. Sanovich has operating privi-
leges at most major Dallas hospitals, including Baylor Dallas,
The remarkable team at Dallas Surgical Arts strives to create a personal relationship and offer the best care to every patient.
