At six months post-op, second stage surgery was done to uncover the
implant and a temporary implant crown was utilized for tissue shaping
before the final restoration was delivered.
RESULTS
BUCCAL BONE PERFORATION
PRF MEMBRANE
Particulate bone allograft was mixed with PRF to create “Sticky
Bone” and PRF membranes. Non-resorbable d-PTFE sutures utilized
for primary closure.
At the patient’s one-year follow up, stability of the implant with buccal
bone regeneration and healthy peri-implant foundation was confirmed.
Patient does not feel a “sharp edge” anymore and esthetics with the
new restoration are even better than before.
Guided Bone Regeneration with PRF technology helps obtain pre-
dictable results that are biocompatible with health, comfort, function
and esthetics.
