Raimundo, the 43-member
volunteer team treated
about 800 patients.
Dr. Stephanie R. Briggs is a recent graduate and board eligible candidate from
Texas A&M University College of Dentistry Periodontics Program. She is a new
member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the
Dallas County Dental Society, along with the Texas Society of Periodontology,
Southwest Society of Periodontology and American Academy of Periodontology.
She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Sup-
port, and Basic Life Support. Dr. Briggs has received advanced training in oral
plastic surgery and digitally guided implant placement techniques. As a resi-
dent, Dr. Briggs lectured on a variety of surgical topics including fully guided
implant placement with digital guide fabrication and guided bone regeneration.
A Dallas, TX native, Dr. Briggs attended private school at St. Pius X Catholic
School. In high school, she played on the varsity soccer team and ran cross-
country competitively earning a scholarship to run cross country and track at
Stephen F. Austin State University. While at SFA, Dr. Briggs met her husband,
Jeffrey Briggs. Together they reside in Dallas, frequently taking trips to Lake
Ray Hubbard in the summer months to go wake boarding and water skiing with
friends and family.
