Inspiring Success Through Knowledge
Welcome to the 2018 Southwest Dental Conference
Celebrating our 91st Year
Howdy from Dallas, and welcome to the 91st Southwest Dental
Conference. The Dallas County Dental Society is pleased to be
your host at the premier dental education meeting of the
Southwest. The focus for the Conference this year is “Inspiring
Success Through Knowledge” and the Scientific Committee has
selected the highest quality clinicians, which are guaranteed to
inspire you to become the most successful dental professional
that you can be.
New to this year’s conference is an exciting Heart Health
Program featuring the Heart Health booth in the Exhibit Hall.
International lecturer and author Mr. David Meinz, will be lec-
turing on systemic and longevity health and he will also be pro-
viding carotid artery (CIMT) scans in the Exhibit Hall. This
CIMT screening will include the latest technology to evaluate
your risk for coronary arterial disease. The American Heart
Association will also be present in the booth providing blood
pressure screenings and distributing information on women’s
heart health and other important information for you to
stay healthy.
The 2018 Southwest Dental Conference will also offer excellent
education opportunities not only for the dentist, but for all team
members, including the excellent 360 Team Experience educa-
tional series designed by Dentsply Sirona Academy. Practice
management superstar Dr. Roger Levin has some new and
exciting programs to share with us as well. Also, for your
technology CE needs we are proud to host Dr. Paul Feuerstein
discussing many new and emerging technology products for
your practice.
We will also have clinicians speaking on management of med-
ical emergencies and medically compromised patients to enable
you and your dental team to better protect your patients.
Our headquarters hotel, The Omni Dallas, provides your dental
