ob market entry for new dental graduates has been an annual dilemma. Some
graduates find employment as full time associates in a traditional practice setting, and others rely on large volume group practices as their primary alternative. While some of our new colleagues simply want to become employees for
their entire career, as eloquently detailed by Dr. Marko Vujicic in the November
2015 issue of the Journal of the American Dental Association, others have dreams of
owning their practice as an eventuality, perhaps three to five years after graduation.
Is that dream still viable?
