NEWS & notes 2015 Recipient of the Sally Hopper Golden Crown Award for Dental Health Arlington Laura Lopez Stinson, RDH Laura Lopez Stinson, RDH was awarded the Dental Health Arlington 2015 Sally Hopper Golden Crown Award at the “Love That Smile” event at Cacharel Restaurant in Arlington on March 27. Laura began her relationship with DHA over 20 years ago when she served on the initial Board conducting the feasibility study prior to opening the first clinic. Laura volunteered in the clinic as a dental hygienist and continues to volunteer in the clinic when needed. Laura developed and presented the bi-lingual, “Pre-K Parent” Dental Education Program for four years. She was lead dental hygienist of DHA’s SMILES school-based dental program for eight years and currently serves on the DHA Board of Directors. Congratulations to Laura Stinson for her many contributions to Dental Health Arlington!
