Generally, patients who invest the time and financial resources for a treatment of this magnitude comply with follow-up recommendations and achieve stable, long term results. Treatment Sequence Utilizing the occlusal deprogramming splint to maintain vertical dimension of occlusion and centric jaw relation, the left side posterior teeth were prepared for full veneer crowns with the aid of vacuform reduction guides. The preparations were protected with Copalite™ varnish. The acrylic shell temporaries were relined with jet acrylic. The same technique was utilized for the right side posterior teeth at a subsequent appointment.
