Dr . Tony Thomas is Chief Dental Officer at ARTHUR | MARSHALL . A native Texan , he grew up in San Antonio until the age of 13 when his family moved to the Seattle area . He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 1998 from the University of Washington . He then moved to New York in 2003 and attended New York University College of Dentistry and graduated in 2007 . He completed a one-year General Practice residency at St . Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx . Dr . Thomas practiced in the Greater NYC / Long Island area for 15 years providing comprehensive dental care to patients , especially those with dental anxiety , before moving back to San Antonio in 2018 .
