As advanced procedures become more common and the patient population becomes increasingly diverse , the ability to provide mild oral sedation , moderate intravenous sedation , deep sedation or general anesthesia in an outpatient dental office rather than a hospital setting is in great demand . Lone Star Dental Anesthesia is the area ’ s largest dental anesthesia practice , serving more than 100 practices over a large geographical area , and one of the oldest dental anesthesia practices in the region . The doctors of LSDA combine 40 + years of experience in providing safe and time-efficient office-based anesthesia services . They know the area and have built collegial relationships in the local dental community . Every doctor with LSDA is board certified and has completed a rigorous specialty training program in dental anesthesia .
Lone Star Dental Anesthesia was established in 1982 by Dr . Joe Giovannitti as Dental Anesthesia Associates . Dr . William Baltazar joined the practice in 2000 and assumed control when Dr . Giovannitti returned to academia in 2004 . Dr . Jinsoo Kim and Dr . Hunter Stuart joined the practice in 2016 and the group changed its name to Lone Star Dental Anesthesia . Dr . Hasan Zia joined the practice in 2018 and Dr . Noora Ayyash became the most recent member of the practice in 2020 .
