Dr . William Baltazar is a Fort Worth native and graduate of Texas Christian University . He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery ( DDS ) from Texas A & M University-Baylor College of Dentistry and completed a post-graduate residency in anesthesia at Loma Linda University Medical Center and its affiliated hospitals . He has been in private practice since 2000 . Dr . Baltazar is a member of The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology ( ADSA ) and Diplomate of The National Dental Board of Anesthesiology ( NDBA ) He is an active participant in the Save a Smile Program that treats underprivileged children . Dr . Baltazar has been married to his college sweetheart , Ellen , for 25 years . They have two teenage sons . He is an avid golfer and snow skier . He enjoys time with family , friends and his Giant Schnauzer and Greyhound .
Dr . Jinsoo Kim attended University of Washington and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree ( DDS ) in 2005 . He decided to further his medical knowledge by pursuing General Practice Residency at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he treated all types of patients including medically compromised patients . He went into private practice for three years after finishing his General Practice Residency where he learned his passion for anesthesia . He attended Loma Linda University to receive his certificate in Dental Anesthesiology from 2009 to 2011 . He became board certified by American Dental Board of Anesthesiology in 2012 . During his free time , Dr . Kim enjoys sports , traveling , trying new food and spending time with his family .
Following five years in the US Air Force , Dr . Hunter Stuart attended Baylor College of Dentistry for his DDS . After 20 years in private practice , Dr . Stuart furthered his training at the University of Texas Health Science Center , Houston , receiving a certificate in the specialty of Prosthodontics and an MS degree , and being selected as a Teaching Fellow in the Craniofacial Implant Fellowship at the university . Following the fellowship , Dr . Stuart then taught at the postdoctoral level clinically and at Memorial-Hermann Hospital , Houston , taking postdoctoral residents to the OR to learn the protocols for hospital-based dentistry . He concurrently completed training in conscious ( oral and IV ) sedation techniques . After several years Dr . Stuart continued his education through an anesthesia residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn , NY . Dr . Stuart is boarded as a dentist anesthesiologist with the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology , the National Board of Dental Anesthesiology and is a Fellow in both the ASDA and ADSA . He maintains a full-time private practice providing office-based anesthesia services and is a founding member of the Lone Star Dental Anesthesia group . He speaks to various groups and organizations on topics ranging from the use of antibiotics and analgesics in dentistry , emergency medical response for the dental office , pediatric anesthesia issues , EtCO 2 monitoring and the information it provides , and selected topics in anesthesia and sedation for dentistry .
Originally from New York , Dr . Hasan Zia received his Doctor of Dental Surgery ( DDS ) degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and completed an intensive three-year residency in Dental Anesthesiology at Stony Brook University Hospital and the Veterans Affairs Hospital of Northport in NY . During this time , he further developed his skills on a cleft lip surgery mission trip to Sudan , where he provided anesthesia to children of all ages undergoing reparative surgery . He has lived and practiced in North Texas his entire professional career , treating patients of all ages and complexities in the private office setting as a Lone Star provider . Dr . Zia is board certified by American Dental Board of Anesthesiology ( ADBA ) as well as National Dental Board of Anesthesiology ( NDBA ) and is dedicated to the Lone Star Dental Anesthesia mission of providing safe , quality anesthesia services in the comfort of your outpatient dental / oral surgery office . In his free time , he enjoys biking , watching movies , and planning road trips . He and his wife Sunna have a two-year-old daughter who keeps them forever on their toes !
Dr . Noora Ayyash is dual trained specialist in Pediatric Dentistry and Dental Anesthesiology . Dr . Ayyash is an Arlington , TX transplant and alumni of the University of Texas at Arlington . She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio . Due to her passion for working with children and special needs patients , she pursued a specialty in pediatric dentistry , also at UTHSCSA , and subsequently became board certified by The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry . During this time , her exposure to different levels of anesthesia led her to further her education and pursue a residency in dental anesthesiology at Jacobi Medical Center in The Bronx , NY where she served as Chief Resident . Dr . Ayyash is excited to be back home in the DFW metroplex and to be providing anesthesia care to her patients . In her free time , she enjoys road biking , hiking , playing tennis , traveling , and spending time with family and friends .
