As the North Texas dental community
faces the challenges of coronavirus,
the team at North Texas Dentistry
thoughts and prayers are with each of you
as dental practices navigate this unprece-
dented time.
We are pleased to present Helm Dental
Laboratory as this issue’s cover feature.
Beginning his 27 th year, Kurtis Helm
continues to be a leader in the laboratory
community. Helm Dental has just opened
a 6,000 square-foot facility across the
street from the current location. The new
building includes a 2,000 square-foot
learning center with an attached clinical
suite and is equipped with the latest in
digital technologies. It is definitely the
lab of the future!
In a Custom Profile on pages 12-13,
Comprehensive Sleep Services ™ shares
a unique opportunity for North Texas
dentists to grow their practice by incorpo-
rating the treatment of snoring and
obstructive sleep apnea for their patients.
The profile covers the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of
the CSS program.
Smiles in the Spotlight highlights a case
by Dr. Deji Fashemo, in collaboration
with Dr. Anna Willison and Dr. Randy
Sanovich. It is an amazing transformation
of a young lady’s smile using orthodontics,
oral surgery and restorative dentistry.
Timely editorial rounds out this issue.
News and Notes recaps the Give Kids A
Smile event held in February; Texas A&M
College of Dentistry announces the open-
ing of their new clinical building and
Legal Corner addresses considerations
when naming your practice. Enjoy these
articles and more!

Special Issue 2020, The Vision of Den-
tistry, Evolving Towards Excellence
is on the horizon to publish this spring.
We have extended the deadline so let me
know if you want to be part of this issue.
The issue will be ‘special’ in both quality
and content.
As we all adjust to ‘social distancing’ and
a temporary new normal, stay well and
take care,
