Your company ’ s founders , Haylee Davis and Justin Kendall , have a wide range of experience . How did that lead you to form The KAD Group , specifically , KAD Dental ?
Mrs . Davis , through her years of experience , is steeped in the intricacies of how to run a successful dental practice . She successfully administered the development of a thriving dental practice from a concrete slab to the successful sale of the same practice for a multi-million dollar purchase transition . Additionally , she has helped other dental practices in all phases of maturity , from wholesale planning of a new associate starting his or her own practice ( complete with securing a new location , financing options , operational guidance , human resource staffing and safety training , and equipment installation ) to comprehensive transition planning for a fully matured practice to bring maximum value to the owning dentist .
Mr . Kendall is both a CPA and an attorney who focuses primarily on business transactions of all types and has extensive experience in drafting , reviewing , and providing counsel to his clients with the myriad of details that must be addressed in all phases of a dental practice . In addition to transition services , Mr . Kendall serves as general counsel for his dental clients , providing guidance for many of the day-to-day activities that affect both small and large dental practices .
Because of their unique perspectives , albeit from different angles , Mrs . Davis and Mr . What questions do dentists ask you when opening a first start-up dental practice ?
The main question we get is : Where do I start ? And , honestly , that ’ s the best question for us to hear . We would much rather be on the initial planning phase to bring as much value to the table . We have been engaged in later steps , and almost always , we find details or questions that should have been raised , but , for some reason , were not . Our goal is to come alongside the dental practitioner to offer assistance in virtually every aspect of the practice start up , including branding , vendor and contractor coordination , business system set up , insurance credentialing , and everything in between .
How can you assist the existing practitioner in growing an established practice ?

How far in advance should a dentist begin planning to sell the dental practice ?
As soon as possible . The ability to maximize the transition value of a practice starts from day one of ownership .
