Overview
Together, we can effect
positive change
For more than 43 years, The North Texas Commission has
provided the forum for top decision makers, key visionaries
and community influencers to strategize positive change in
our region — from economic-impacting projects to long-term
master-planning to strengthening the next generation of leaders.
An Orchestrated Stand
Bringing people together to accomplish what they could not
do alone — that is the essence of the North Texas Commission.
Our 300 members actively engage in our ongoing conversation
about the region. By crossing government borders, industry
lines and community boundaries, we are able to band together
and merge interests into a synchronized and strategic force —
making North Texas stronger.

play a part in the economic development of the region. All
of our community colleges in the region support the needs
of business and industry by providing well-trained, workforce
ready employees with the skills needed to keep our region
at the top of the growing economies of the world.
And we count on our industry partners to guide us in
supporting the region.”

Strategy for our Future
Advancing as One
The North Texas Commission is the only regional entity
that convenes public and private partners from our
12-county area to address big-picture issues, including
upcoming legislation, transportation, air quality and
long-term water plans — consequential topics that
affect your operational efficiency.
The North Texas Commission brings our region’s assets
together in a targeted promotional program for the world
stage. Our marketing and public relations activities create
top-of-mind awareness in strategic international markets that
correspond with direct air service from DFW Airport and offer
the most mutually beneficial trade opportunities.
