The
spring of 2016
started out like any other spring in the Northwest:
unpredictable. A new line of beekeeping equipment was keeping things equally
unpredictable at the North 40 Outfitters store locations. Until now, we’d never
sold anything like this and knew very little about what it took to become a
backyard beekeeper.
We went from knowing absolutely nothing about bees to raising 25 lbs. of
harvestable honey in our rookie season. Now in our second year we are excited
